Sometimes fifty minutes isn’t enough.
There are moments in life when something is shifting – a decision that needs to be made, a life transition unfolding, a quiet ache for something more, or a pattern that feels ready to be understood at a deeper level. An Immersive Therapy Session offers four uninterrupted hours of focused, in-person psychotherapy to explore what matters most. This extended format allows us to slow down, dive beneath the surface, and stay with something long enough for clarity and embodied insight to emerge.
The session will be tailored to each individual’s needs and may include:
- In-depth therapeutic dialogue
- Values clarification and life direction work
- Exploration of relational or existential themes
- Parts-based or experiential processes
- Space for reflection and integration
- Optional sound-based relaxation to support settling and integration
This is not a retreat or workshop. It is psychotherapy offered in a longer, more spacious format, held within the ethical framework of the BACP (British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy).
Because of the depth possible in four hours, this format can be especially helpful for:
- Life transitions
- Reviewing direction or purpose
- Exploring identity, meaning, or change
- Integrating significant experiences
- Deepening ongoing therapy work
Some clients use an immersive session as a standalone deep dive. Others integrate it into ongoing therapy, with shorter sessions before or after to support preparation and integration.
Sometimes what’s needed isn’t more time over weeks, but enough time in one sitting. Four hours allows the time and space to gently go somewhere we cannot always reach in a standard session. If you’re considering an immersive session, you’re welcome to get in touch to explore whether it would be a good fit.
Fee: £320 (payment is required in advance to secure the booking).
Date/Time: Dates and times are arranged individually, with some flexibility depending on availability.
Location: Sessions take place in a private mobile treatment room in a rural setting in Somerset. The environment is quiet, contained, and supportive of focused inner work.
